Taipei - Day 1

Alright, so we made it to Taipei! We got picked up from the airport and were taken to the IBLP Taiwan headquarters. We will be staying in the warehouse/hosting room for the week we are in the Taipei/Taiwan area.
Of course, the first thing we all noticed in Taipei is the humidity...I guess it is only around 80 degrees, but becuase of the humidity, you instantly get soaked the second you walk outside. The area is so much different from any of the cities I've been to in the U.S. Everyone rides a scooter! every sidewalk and street is just lined with scooters. It is really quite amusing to see for the first time. Everyone speaks Chinese here, so that is obviously different.
We are all pushing throught the day so that we can get rid of the jet lag by tomorrow. It will be worth it though becuase we will not have to spend some days trying to aclimate to the time zone. I'm going to post pictures of the city soon. I just have not got around to taking some worth posting.

On the plane ride from Hong kong to Taipei there were some pretty cool cloud formations.

These two photos are from our window. It looks directly over Taipei. The jogging field is open for us to use, in case we ever want to exercise...
